Sang'gre Terra: Costume Design 1

When I was invited to work on the character development arts for Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre, I had to revisit my old designs and use them as a springboard for how I would design the new generation of fantasy heroes, starting with Terra.

I decided to first, base the texture and silhouette from her mother, Danaya. Like Danaya, Terra will be the keeper of the Earth gem.

I also played with the idea of placing in the silhouette of another diwata . Pirena. Even before there were no story concept yet, I already knew that the once villainous and now hero, Pirena will be the keepers' guiding light, mentor and parent.

This was just an idea that I threw in and knew this look was never going to make the cut for being too 2005-ish.
