This Ippei Mine(Mark Gordon) character design is used for the live-action adaptation of the Chōdenji Mashīn Borutesu Faibu(Voltes Five) animation now known as Voltes Five Legacy produced by GMA Network Inc. licensed by TeleSuccess in the Philippines in behalf of TOEI Animation.

Making the Voltes Pilot suits was a complicated process visually, making it look seem advance tech and campy at the same time. The suits also needed to look similar in texture as the actual Voltes Five robot.
