Boazan Soldier

The Boazanian soldier design was used in the live-action adaptation of Chōdenji Mashīn Borutesu Faibu(Voltes Five) produced by GMA Network Inc. licensed by TOEI Company, LTD.

The source material showed the soldiers to have reptilian tails but it didn't make sense with the alien societal structure that the story has, so the tails had to be removed.

Boazanian foot soldiers initially had tails just like in the animated version. It had to be removed for practical reasons and it also did not make sense that they had tails in the first place when their leaders had none.
